Maggie Phillips is the brilliant and artful music supervisor, whose limitless devotion to her craft is apparent in every soundtrack she curates. Spontaneously breaking into the field through her association with the Duplass Brothers, Phillips navigated beyond her background in fine art and transformed into one of the leading resources for independent films, most notably Oscar and Golden Globe-winning, Moonlight, and Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner, The Miseducation of Cameron Post.

She is the arbiter of taste behind Sam Esmail’s psychological thriller, Homecoming, Noah Hawley’s psychedelic sci-fi whirlwind, Legion, Bruce Miller’s dystopian serial, The Handmaid’s Tale, Nick Antosca’s chilling true-crime series, The Act, Jeremy Slater’s fantasy adventure show, The Umbrella Academy, Aidy Bryant’s body positivity comedy, Shrill, Justin Marks’ mysterious espionage drama, Counterpart, and many more binge-worthy projects. Most recently, Phillips has contributed her talents to Hulu’s The Dropout, HBO Max’s Our Flag Means Death, AppleTV+’s Shining Girls, and Starz’s Gaslit.

Phillips is the founder of Deep Cut Music, an independent, all-female creative music supervision shop.
