In our latest episode of The Pop Disciple Podcast, we are joined by Robin Urdang, the Emmy-winning music supervisor behind Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Luca Guadagnino's upcoming horror re-make, Suspiria, and Academy Award-winning, Call Me By Your Name. Robin Urdang is an Emmy award winning music supervisor of visual media. Hailing from New York City, Urdang relocated to Los Angeles and founded her own company, Reel Music SuperVision. Her television credits include the critically acclaimed and award winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Younger, The Detour, The Comedians, Burn Notice, Brothers and Sisters, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, and SIX. Urdang’s extensive film credits include several prominent works with director, Luca Guadagnino including Call Me By Your Name, A Bigger Splash, and the upcoming remake of the 1970’s horror cult classic, Suspiria, as well Thanks For Sharing, Beginners, Introducing Dorothy Dandrige, and many others.

Previously, Robin served as the music consultant for Olympus Pictures, Warner Independent Pictures, and The Weinstein Company, contributing her talents to films including The Reader, Piranha 3D, Youth in Revolt, and Nine. In addition to being the second person in history to win an Outstanding Music Supervision Emmy, Urdang has received a Guild of Music Supervisors Award and Hollywood Music in Media Awards in both the film and television categories. Presently, Urdang is working on the second season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, and various other projects. Outside of her professional life, Urdang devotes her time to raising her young son, Ethan Badger.
